How doesn't love pizza ? Why not giving your pizza treat a healthy twist with our coffee and wheat flour pizza crust ?
Ingredients
(For one crust of 200g)
⅓ cup - warm water (50g)
¾ tsp - active dry yeast (5g)
¾ cup - wheat flour (100g)
¼ cup - coffee flour (25g)
½ tsp - salt (3g)
1 tbsp - olive oil (3g)
1 tbsp - honey (3g)
1 crust of 200g
Directions
- Combine water with yeast in a cup, mix together and let it activate for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, stir together wheat flour, coffee flour and salt. Pour the yeast water, olive oil and honey and knead the dough until a soft dough ball forms.
- Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch the dough down to remove it from the bowl on the surface. Knead the dough until it’s elastic and not sticky, add more flour if needed. Form a soft bowl and roll the dough out into a pizza shape.
- Bake the dough in 200°C for 4-5 minutes then add all the topping ingredients (tomato sauce, cheese, etc.) and bake again for about 8-10 minutes.
